DRK is 5th place. Not bad considering what jobs are beating it.
Except for Samurai... I hate Samurai. >.<

Black Mage all the way! Nuking is so awesome!
You can't seriously claim that using a team of Squire, Theif, Knight, Monk, Geomancer, Bard, Dancer, Mediator, Mime, Chemist, Oracle, Samurai, Archer, or even White Mage, gives you the same advantage of a Calculator because you "built" it right.
Only a Dancer can hit all the enemies every turn like a Calculator, but there's no way they can finish the fight in one turn.
I still stand by Calcs being cheap, and would much rather play through the game using all Oracles with no sub class just for the fun of the challenge. (I've tried Archer and that was torture on some battles.)
I have absolutely no preference when it comes to Final Fantasy jobs. I like characters, and what jobs I like depend greatly on the characters who play them. But this reminded me of this.
I voted for Knight.
Yeah, that's a cool fan cover. I've heard it before too.I have absolutely no preference when it comes to Final Fantasy jobs. I like characters, and what jobs I like depend greatly on the characters who play them. But this reminded me of this.

On the subject of jobs, the more I think about it the more I think SE is just going to add something totally non traditional next. I came to this conclusion because I tried to imagine what I don't want SE to add next the most. What ever I don't want is what SE usually dose, so I'd say its a pretty safe bet.

You know with the right set up of armor and abilities you can make you character nearly impossible to hit. Just by having the strong Escutcheon shield and Feather Mantle, you already have 50% chance or less of being hit by a spell.

Especially a squire. If I make the bare minimum to just get my character to level 99 and you do the level down then level strategy.

Black Mage, always.

Only 17 WHM's out there?
Man ya'll be dead.

I had to vote Beastmaster..just because I like the idea behind the job. A character more comfortable with the wilderness than the busy city..too bad ffxi totally took that in the totally OPPOSITE direction lol.
