    A Dungeon that has us Separated at start idea

    On the Trailer when I saw the Words " And though darkness would see us divided" it spung this Idea of at the start of the Dungeon all people will be Separated 1 by 1 or in Groups of 2 and have to find each other, mobs on the way there would be suitable for 2 people and then eventually meet somewhere together, and combine your strength with the power of 8 people. ( Of Course at this point everything beyond that point is suitable for 8 people).

    I thought this could be an interesting idea. Thoughts?

    An interesting concept, but I think it's just a typical way of saying when good guys get together, they beat up bad guys =P

    Well this Particular Dungeon can be a rather long one, the first phase you don't need much in the healing dept. but you need to stop and get you health back up every now and then. Phase 2 is where you meet with 2 more of your fellow member because your paths finally Crossed ( Same goes for the other groups they would be at 4 as well). At that point you should have 1 Cure man in each group and mobs get stronger and you will need some curing at that point.

    Phase 3 would be when the 2 Groups of 4 meet up somewhere, at which point mobs are at full strength and everything little thing counts at this point.

    Could be good if done right. ^.^

    What if u end up with all the mages on one side? And they all meet each other?

    You don't need much healing so even if you had 2 WHMs you can still kill them with like Holy and a Mace etc.

    I could see this working for 16/24/32 Member dungeons where all four parties would meet up. Or, four parties of two people can enter at once as an alliance, so that leaders need to plan who goes with who, and find the best job combinations.

    Nice concept, but I don't see it working without parties entering the dungeon already separated by players themselves.

    This could be a great idea.
    I remember a dungeon in Xenosaga III where you had to split your group.
    And each group had to activate levers or switch to make the other group progress.

    Looking at the "FF roots", we had something like this in FF VI too, for the final dungeon.

    Nowadays, Cutter's Cry use a tiny bit of this concept, but it's not really "fun"
