It seems this Belgianrofl guy is very hit and miss. Occasionally, through all the multitudes of ludicrous posts there's some good points raised. I think his ego needs some serious re-working though, so I might take a leaf out of his book and address the producer directly in my post also:
Dear Naoki Yoshida,
Please implement a PvP system that allows players to engage in combat at their own free will with the character Belgian Rofl. Since you have assigned a task force to specifically read his posts and report to you around the clock on his movements, I trust my words will find you. The 'voice of the community' would greatly benefit from some in-game feedback from his peers.
Thank you.
Seriously though...while it is nice that he's so passionate about the game, the majority grow weary of the child flapping his hands around for attention. :/
LOL! I love it <3
Yo Beligianrofl, I kindly once again extend a different option to you while saying the same thing, "Don't knock it till you try it." You know of which I speak. While I agree with you that FFXIV has amazing potential (and eventually I will most likely return once this potential is even close to being met) things have been a bit on the slow side as far as change is concerned. Trust me, I love the FF series and the "pretty" as much as you. I will end this post with "pretty != quality"
It sad but true that I'm kind of agree with starter.
Before earthquake, I played only FFXIV.
But while they closed server due to earthquake event, I tried Rift, and it hit me... hard. Hard enough to stop playing FFXIV after that time.
I'm not raise topic about Rift game to invite people to play, but I would like to raise the "professional" of Trion team.
Rift is the sample of this era MMO's should be. Use general term, few bugs, meaningful launcher, fun-to-do quest, super fast new content and etc.
I know that FFXIV struggle to fix their old bug and broken system before they ready to launch new content into game. But.. yeah... their time was shorten everyday. Last post of Yoshi-P is like they excuse and sorry for delay due to golden week in JP... that no one work..
SE in last couple years didn't do great job for their flagship games.. I played FF13 for 2 hours and stop forever.
Also didn't finish other title they released so far.
Sign, only thing that FFXIV is strong is "most detailed graphic"... that's all
How professional stealing wow gameplay and publicize with "you're not in azeroth anymore".
I rather enjoy dc universe, which actually is an original game (in before champion online)

11th page bump ;O
some people think its so easy to change the game. Keep in mind that this software took years to create with a relativly large team of japanese wiz. I believe yoshi-p doing a tremendous job managing his team and pushing them to the limit. I also appreciate the feedback he gives us. since hes been in charge things are just going better
