White/blank login screen! Pls help

yesterday i was forced to reinstall the game because of white/blank login screen.
No fix after the reinstall so here what i did next...
1.upgraded my graphics card driver.
2.lowered IE security settings to low.
3.Run full virus/malware scan (clear)
4.Checked Upnp settings and firewall settings (all seemed fine for FFXIV)
5.Reinstalled for 2nd time the game without firewalls running
Result NO FIX.
Moreover i tried to send a ticket and i was getting an error on sending the ticket because in system information which i pasted as instructed. So i was forced to post here...
I am getting really frustrated here(3rd day trying to solve this) so if someone
could propose a solution it will be really appreciated!

Make sure you tried toggling depth of field and ambient occulison off. I used to get log in screen glitches when I had certain graphical settings high.

i tried that now but still no success and by the way i have already set everything to lowest (although on high everything was working fine) (windowed too)

Do you mean the login screen that comes right after the version check? before you click play?

If its this it's most likely a connection problem with your isp / routing
Run tracert to secure.square-enix.com and see if you have problems if you do badger your isp.

If you mean the charactor select screen have you dropped the settings so low your graphics card doesnt like it.
I dropped everything to minimum once in the days I was but a n00b at iffy figured it may help dodge cracks but the game wouldn't load untill I turned them up a bit. maybe your running in a resolution your card doesn't like?

Yes i mean the login screen the one that comes right after the version check (exact image you have posted).
Just did tracert completed without a problem -.-' (reached 17)

is your internet in "work offline" (dunno even know if you can still do that)
I'm fairly sure it's not your game but either your network settings or isp.

Not sure what you mean by that, or how to do it..

open internet explorer window press alt click file and it should say work offline?
make sure it's not ticked.

if you're using ie as your browser and looking at this page then it's working so no need to bother.

oh that, yes its not offline as i tried to use IE to submit ticket because through firefox computer information wasnt getting accepted..
You made me remember however that i couldnt even log in through IE9. I am typing my username, password but log in doesnt work...probably some script error that causes all this problem? but reset IE doesnt seem to fix anything and i already have https://secure.finalfantasyxiv.com and https://secure.square-enix.com added in trusted...

OK after experimenting a bit more i managed to make it work so i post this here just in case someone encounters the same problem!
All indication seems to point towards IE9 however, resetting, turning on/off, lowering security IE9, putting square into trusted in IE9 nothing worked and some sort of scripting problem in IE9 kept causing the same problem..so

SOLUTION
I uninstalled IE9 fully through microsoft fixit

That put IE8 back. and well that was about it all...everything worked.
Moreover i reinstalled IE9 without problem and still everything worked even when i increased IE9 to default and ff graphics to high as they were..
I use windows 7 64bit btw.
I hope that will take some frustration of people with same problem unlike my torture the last few days
