I don't know whether or not to be discouraged by the fact I picked a similar name and effect to two of the other rings posted! /panic

Only about 11 hours until I unveil my entry - complete with lore!

I find it hilarious that another person's ring is the same name as mine... though very, very different looking.

How long did everyone spend on theirs anyway? Personally... 3 days... because I redrew it 3 times to 'completed' stage hahahha /wrist But so extremely happy with it in the end that it was worth it.

Hm, let me check the time when I submitted my piece...

If I'm not mistaken, they first put the contest up at 11 am I had mine done by 11:30 after all my thought process and excessive sketching. So I'm gonna have to say it took me about 10 minutes but it's no contest to how fast I got mine done, I just wanted to do it before I lost my idea and draw it out before I forget.

Total hours, I'm not really sure. I've been in discussion with my linkshell about it since the day the contest was announced... went through two versions of style, and then 3 or 4 versions of the more popular one. I had a lot of wonderful help and input along the way, and I'm really hoping the amount of spirit and effort pays off. It's more than just my heart in this one.

What I'm curious about is why The Lodestone closed the contest like a day early - and in French. Sure glad I got mine in yesterday!

I will sheepishly admit mine is called 'Rebirth' ... but I will not be posting it until the top 10 are out *smiles*

Originally I thought a Dalamud theme, but rejected it as I thought many would do the same. I kept the name and ability Reraise as a stat though. I thought we would need it for exploration... in case we run into mobs with changed/new methods of aggro etc

Looks like that ability in itself is something everyone wants to see hahah

I had a few renditions myself, then I went with the one that was closest to the FFXIV lore and called it the Triumvirate Ring. nice comic in your sig too !
