I'm not gonna lie, while I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't get farther (though I didn't get my hopes up), I'm more disappointed in the overall final roster.

It (at least to me) seems like the selections choices were adjusted with respect to an even spread across region, artistic talent, and future renderability, which is economical and fantastic public relations, but leaves out a lot of really high quality designs I saw along the way (some in blogs, some in this thread, etc.)

Congratulations to those who won, at least! I just wish I knew more about these rings ... their stats, lore, and symbolism. Wasn't SE supposed to display your ring name and caption? Did they forget all that? We can't even see the stats! Never mind specifics, but just like ... a general idea would be nice.

I'd like what I vote for to earn my vote with its soul, not its appearance. The ring with the little plant bud really speaks to me that way. It's like the first seeds of rebirth... That or the Fenrir ring. I like the whole Fenrir v. Odin part of Norse mythology, and I'll really buy into just about anything that's black and purple at this point.

Still, my highest motivation for voting is the possible reward for voting... which rubs me all kinds of wrong. Come on, SE, if I can't root for a design by me or someone I know, let me root for something I'm invested in. Tell meh more.

I think all winners are really well made.
Some of them are truly original and some even tell stories.

My favourite ring, that was posted here long ago got under the top 10 and so I voted for it now.

I guess they didn't show stats since they might be changed by the developers.
So all we can do is to vote for a ring that we would like to see in ARR. And I want to see number 3 cuz it will remind us of the current story, the last battle, how we "survied" etc.

I would have voted for No. 1 too because its just too funny and kinda cute.
If you don't like most of the designs just vote for the one u could "accept" as the winner ^^

Part of this contest was submitting a ring name, stats and description, which I think is really vital to being able to make a confidant vote here. There are some rings that I can tell what they probably are by looking at them, and some rings where I'd really like to have some context on what the artist was going for. If my ring (posted above, "Dark Matter Ring") had made it to the finals it's quite unremarkable in appearance, but it can bring a smile when you understand how it sits against the game's culture and lore. I wonder how the finalists feel about their rings sitting on the vote page with no caption?

Oh and that triple-band ring (the french one?) is a really lousy entry. Walk into any jewelry store and you will find that ring for sale.

Basically they can turn a Melee Ring just into a Healer ring *lol*
So I guess our stats are kinda useless X3
