Keisuna: It looks good! Don't crit yourself too hard. Who is Gungolir? Did I miss some lore?

You did not miss any lore because Gungolir is my creation. He was a large dragon who I was designing for the final battle in one of my roleplaying games when I was much younger. My campaigns were heavily influenced by the first six Final Fantasy games, which were a huge part of my childhood. This particular boss had very high defense, and was nearly impossible to hit if his attention was on you.

Unfortunately I never got to use him in my games, and I don't remember exactly why, but I dug up some notes on him some time ago. It reminded me how much fun I had back then, but also how much I missed it and how much I regret not doing more. It sort of struck me that I feel very similar about the Final Fantasy series now: How great the previous games were, the failure of FFXIV 1.0, and the hope I have for A Realm Reborn.

Gunslinger: I think you're on to something! Pretty clever!
Shogun: I agree 100% with your concern and it was a concern of mine when I submitted this ring, but the contest rules are clear that you have a 50 character limit for your ring stats and I think I used 41. I was actually considering that equipping the ring would give an extended weakness to prevent gear swapping, but when I started counting characters I knew even rewording I couldn't get the description I wanted the devs and players to understand and also have two "special" stats on the ring. Hopefully, if the devs and the players like my ring they'll find a way to appropriately balance it. Thank you for your feedback.

To be honest, I didn't really spend as much time as I would have liked to on my entry, but I tried to think about FFXIV and these forums. I think it would be really neat to have the gem eyes light up at night~~

The ring is: Camate's Charm
Basically:
Day Time - Regen +2
Night Time - Strength +22 Double Attack +2

Which will be gotten off a Snurble Queen the size of the Great Buffalo in 2.0 ? Then i know 5 people that would not kill this mob.

And yes, I drew my ring only using MS paint. Took me a few hours to do.... Using the pencil crayon effect around the edges really gives it a soft, smooth look to it.
