Earring ear switching

So, maybe I'm missing something but ...
For the earrings that only go in 1 ear. Is there a way to swap ears? Or is this planned as part of the upcoming armor toggles?

The reason I'm asking is because I usually have the hairstyle "Liberating Locks" on my character. That hairstyle has a lock of hair on the left side covering the base of your ear if you don't have fancier ears.
It bothers me that most of the prettier earrings only ever go in one ear and usually the left one! This makes them, in case of liberating locks, mostly obscurred by hair!

As far as I'm aware, there's currently no way to switch which ear wears single earring pieces, which is a shame! Alongside agreeing it should be a toggle because hairstyles often block the ear with single earrings, I think this is a cute idea for customization generally. If you wear the same single earring as a friend, but on a different side, it would make it look like your earrings are from a set split between the two of you. (Kind of romantic if done with the Menphina earring?)

Wish they add a function where you can pick to wear one in left or right ear or both ears.

I miss 1.0 when you had two earring slots, four ring slots, and could just absolutely be blinged the heck out as a fisher doing the MSQ.

I would love to have the ability to mirror an earring, so it is on both. I hate having one earring on, it feels weird and unbalanced.

If I could make it so earrings that appear in both ears, only appear in one, preferably the right ear, then I would be very happy. It would open up so many new options!
