Subsription compensation due to 24 hours server maintenance

So, the question is: will it actually happen? After all, because of SE, I’m forced to miss a full day that I could have spent playing the game.

I’d say I’ve reached a boiling point right now. In every other MMO I’ve played, the developers ALWAYS compensated for subscription time lost due to maintenance or other issues beyond the players' control. With FFXIV, however, the developers ALWAYS avoid doing this—whether it’s DDoS attacks that made the game unplayable for a week, or maintenance periods that lasted a full 24 hours.
