THANK you. Honestly, We ALL know the jobs, we all love them and treasure our memories of them. (Of course, None of the ones I personally love are even in the game but i deal with it the best I can.) But there was something amazing about the early classes. Granted the skill sets tended to be most useful when flowing from a mage class to a melee class (since melees can cast spells but mages cant really do weaponskills (ok they could, but come on, they're wielding sticks and jewelry not swords and axes)). The point being: you could make the job you wanted. A debuffing monk? np! a healing warrior? fuhgettaboutit! that was the beauty of the class system. The job system is enthusiastically fascist imho.
