Why would you ever play ARC? I Hate the Class System.

I had a really nice rebuttal to some things people were saying on here. Then i remembered that this is a forum, and really nothing gets "resolved." It's mostly a place for people that complain a lot. Enjoy ladies and mentlegen!

ok well, despite my support of the class system, i should admit im being nostalgic and cherry picking my favorite aspects. I guess Im still lamenting the old THM skillset...man what an awesome class that was:__.

Why would you ever play any class instead of a job? Because when you're soloing to level up, it's a lot easier when you can cure/heal yourself reliably, even if it's a crappy cure 1.

Of my 3 main roles I still sometimes play classes over jobs even in parties when doing endgame content.

Thaumaturge can Cure and Raise, which can at times save the fight. Sentinel and Featherfoot are also very useful. And on the attack side, being able to use Stone and Aero for the Magic Defense Down and DoT effect are also very handy.
Unless I need the slightly greater damage output, Convert or Sleepga, I still enjoy playing Thaumaturge when possible. Plus I get to wear my Vanya robe. ^^

Archer can use Second Wind, Sentinel, and Invigorate for even more TP gains.
Unless the party really needs the Bard songs or Rain of Death, I still like to play Archer. And Sarnga is still my favorite bow.

The only class I don't play anymore is Conjurer over White Mage.

ARC -> Archer.

Arcanist will likely be ACN.

I thought this was an archer thread. I was gonna say because ARC used to be buffed as hell.
