    Anima costs are higher inside mercantile house

    I have encountered a bug wherein, if you attempt to teleport to an area within your current region while inside a mercantile house, the anima costs will be listed (and deducted) as if you are in a different region. For example, if you are in the city of Ul'dah and inside the Ul'dah mercantile house, and attempt to teleport to Camp Drybone, it will cost 6 anima rather than the usual 4. I am assuming this is not intentional. See the following screenshots for reference.

    Which Mercantile House were you in though? Same thing happened in Gridania (teleporting from Uldah Mercantile House in Gridania to Camp Emerald Moss cost 6 anima as opposed to the usual 4).

    However, the anima cost was "regionalized" properly in the Gridanian Mercantile House.

    Perhaps the "Mercantile Houses," regardless of which city they are in, have to be coded in such a way that they technically "exist" in the city their name is derived from? (IE All "Uldahn" Merc Houses are actually zoned as "Uldah"?)

    I was in the Ul'dahn mercantile house inside Ul'dah, so it still doesn't make sense.

    Hmm. You're right, that doesn't make sense. Maybe all the Mercantile Houses exist somewhere in the Void, so they're harder to leave. o.O

    To be honest though, the Devs probably know about this and have other priorities. After all, all you have to do is walk a few yalms and be back in the city where transportation is cheaper.

    Still though, curiosity has been piqued as to why the cost is different, from a programming perspective.
