Server connection issues

Title.

A couple months ago, I'd randomly get either 90001 or 90002 at any given point, and none of the vague "solutions" I've found online has actually worked. After some time, the 90k's stopped happening, but ever since 7.56 it started yet again.

Literally FFXIV is the only thing affected by connection issues, all my other games/apps work just fine. I've seen other threads about similar problems but it just baffles me how the game has been running these many years with such a poor service. Also it's the only game that entirely kicks you out if it feels like it (see error 2002).

Even with little hiccups in the connection, modern games don't throw you out but FFXIV seems sensitive as hell about it.

Can y'all invest a little bit more in your infrastructure please, or switch providers for the love of everything?

Without further info, it's impossible to tell what the issue is. It could be a corrupted file, firewall issue, outdated drivers, WiFi issues, etc.
When you look at previous threads about this, look at the date of those threads. If there isn't any around the current time, odds are it's a specific issue to your PC. It's not always someone else's fault.

See if it stops if you get Cloudflare WARP or something similar. (I personally use this one) - This means a route between your ISP and FFXIV is borked.
Otherwise, yeah, it's local to your PC.
