    look I can't break all that down but

    jobs are for party - you have a definite role, you aren't supposed to be flexible ~ thats what the class is for

    we don't have a solid debuff class/job right now, but we do have some things; enough to get by

    ALL blm spells are useful - I'm sorry you don't see that. (also sleep isn't instant).

    some gear is designed for classes only because their stats are balanced differently, same as jobs.

    we don't really know how much the armory system will be changed/expanded so all this talk about sub jobs is kinda >.>
