I found Level Sync to be one of the best additions to XI ever. Absolute freedom to play with all your friends, new players and old.

My only hope is that ARR is as party-organized as XI was. Because, what good is Level Sync when currently most players solo leve's till 40?

I have a good feeling they will get it right. I also feel they will take the same model as they have in FFXI and just implement it here.

At first I thought this idea of level sync was terrible.


I played Guild Wars 2.. and now I think it's seriously one of the best things an MMORPG could have.

As much as I loved the idea of being this solitary THM hermit, I got kinda bummed playing GLA or MRD and not having anyone to protect. Likewise, a CNJ with nobody to heal would seem lonely. Solo tank/healer/buffer feels like a lot of wasted talent. Level Sync will help people flesh out their class identities better in this regard, as well as teach them party play earlier on. DD seems fine solo (I am reminded of Sabin in FFVI before the party meets him), as learning how not to take hate and maneuver around the tank's monster is all they'd need to learn.
