Can we be given the option to continue to pay for our subscription in October?

Nobody else seems to have noticed this yet, but your understanding of FTP in September is incorrect. November 1 will be the final save maintenance, with November 11 being when servers go down.

Legacy qualification = have paid for three consecutive months during 1.0 service

So long as you started your Sub by August 1, you should be in the clear. August, September, and October will qualify you for Legacy. If you started after August 1, you may be short by a few days depending on when the billing period ends.

I activated my account at release and paid for a full year of Crysta and while I played for a number of months after release I did not actually pay any Crysta. Then due to RL issues, I had to put down gaming until this summer when I reactivated my account in mid July (not even knowing there was a legacy program).

According to what the legacy program states, is that you need to pay for 90 days prior to the start of Beta which is happening post Nov. 1. But according to what Yoshi-P wrote in his last message, after September 30th the game will be free.

Will we still be given the option to pay during that period to qualify for Legacy status?

Edit: I think you are right, I misread the letter the first time. If I understand this correctly, we will still have to pay up through November, however should they decide to keep the servers up post Nov. 1, we would be able to play for free. Thanks for the clarification, this literally made my day. Never thought I would actually be so happy for the right to pay for a game subscription lol.
