Relics...?

The only thing stopping me from doing the Relic Quest is Hamlet. I hate it that much. After 2 hamlet runs I am legitimately too bored to play the game and have to take a time out to prevent my brain from numbing over. I've done 16 minute AV/CC runs no problem but the hamlet requirement is the deal breaker for me.

But regardless, I'm not too concerned about the relic quest. I'll still have fun playing this game and trying to get a piece of dark-light before 2.0. (I've had terrible, terrible luck on the drops, I've been running AV/CC since it was released.)

And can you verify that info about the seals from someone who has a relic and has started up another? That's really good to know if it's true.

The seals you get from the hamlet are just a one time thing to activate the quest, once you activate it you can do it as many times as possible without the need to do Hamlet for seals anymore.

guess i missed this..... and as the poster said above me and as i have said.... yes its a one time deal
and i can verify it as im on relic #3 right now..... once its done its done for good

when you go to start your 2nd relic all you do is go to the guy out at nine ives and pick your next relic to work on

I'm the same way ive only gotten 4/9 seals, thats holding a RL job and social status. I don't see how a relic is obtainable unless you have a linkshell and have access to a dozen randoms that will always come on a moments wim. you don't get relic by working hard solo, which is pretty sad. I really enjoyed soloing my abyssea relic as BST on XI. it was HUGE accomplishment, and i thoroughly enjoyed every second of the NM fights. Sucks seeing people in town who got relics just because they were handed everything by others with the promise theirs will come eventually. I feel sorry for those people(the ones they used, of course).
