Question... Yoshi-P mentioned that they would make a poll to keep the current servers up... but with no further save progress etc. Is this for for a few "days" or are they planning to keep them up "forever" depste no future saving?

They're probably going to be using the same hardware for 2.0 and even if they don't I doubt we'd see them both running simultaneously.

Most likely, if enough people want it, it will run for the duration of the alpha and beta before shutting down shortly before the launch of 2.0

I was just thinking. Since it does not matter what happens in the game in those 10 days, maybe the devs will release a small patch that makes all gear 100% drop rate?
It would be fun to have everyone experience the fun running around in all Darklight gear and with all Ifrit weapons.

Possibly even allowing people to get their relics in just a few days, thanks to guaranteed drops and good equips which will help with the fights?

Im sure SE could make it clear that anything obtained during that time doesnt stay.

Yeah, I'm still working on that 20 leves at every camp achievement. If I have until November, I'll definitely get it down. I was worried before though that I didn't have time.
