Despite this being another "view cutscene and get reward" event, I'll forgive Square this time thanks to the cameo, my inner adolescent self was very happy with it and makes me miss the contributions he used to bring with previous expansions and the series as a whole.

Now get him to produce another expansion's main theme again, I dare you.

Yes, the unexpected appearance of said guest! I've grown with the Final Fantasy series, and music in general has a huge impact in me, so having that cameo added to the sappy monologue from Yoshi-P hit me. The first quest was the typical light-hearted quest, but I guess due to getting older, things like that get me emotional now.

When I saw the piano at first I thought it'd be Keiko, or Soken, so seeing Nobuo Uematsu wasn't on my bingo card!

He had glasses on. Soken doesn't wear glasses, but Nobuo Uematsu does.

That's what I thought too!

I figure the imp was Soken in disguise. Was waiting for him to bust out the otamatone hahaha...but a custom chocobo hat for Uematsu was really cool.

Personally,

I think the imp is Hironobu Sakaguchi, him and Uematsu are still good friends from what I know and Sakaguchi is a fan of that green imp design from what I remember. Could be wrong, it's left vague on purpose. Also, someone correct me please, but didn't he ask Yoshi P to add that costume to XIV?
