Preferred World+

So irritated and disappointed.

I purchased a second account. Something casual and easy. A relaxed account. Not the OMNIE 100 main I have on Faerie chasing relics and new content and tomestones. I specifically chose a preferred+ world so when I decided to level something it would be cushy and not the grind I have on Faerie. More housing! Less Fate competition. Relaxed.

The latest patch downgraded the world to Standard. Great. Just my luck. A month later my Road to 90 buff "expires".

BUT NOW THE WORLD IS BACK TO PREFERRED+ WTF

It was standard just long enough to expire the Road to 90. Really considered a dramatic death and start over on Golem new character. Wondering how I could make a "storyline" for that...

WHY!!? OBVIOUS people will bail and run to worlds no longer identified as "congested" to be with friends. The about-face is just a smack in the face.

So, yeah - - I have "not so casual grind" now that is no different when I started in 2019. Perhaps I should have transferred to Faerie with everyone else since, at this point - THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE FOR ME.

Venting yeah I know etc etc gamedesign etc server balancing etc - - - - but it sucks.

Hi, so I re-rolled on a new DC for the old event for free game days, but you're not honestly gated by lack of EXP, esp if you are starting from 0 as much as the MSQ locking and slowing you down alot. Also, I can see if you made a 2nd FT one to re-play up to ShB but honestly the MSQ gave me massive exp rewards each time that I'd hit lvl 30 in a few hours and then still be missing my free chocobo which is annoying along with losing access to a lot of basic skills too.

If the 90 days are over then you can still just level casually now since you don't sound like you've hit the later expanions where you need more jobs to be maxed and we can't really predict how SE will handle server status changes now or in the future too.

Yeah - - I have two jobs at 100 and BLASTED through Alchemist and halfway through Fisher when the lovely orange glowy icon of love pOoFed..... I had hoped to level a few more classes before it dropped - - that HUGE% was massive. MSQ with the bonus was insane. sigh. But - - I still scored some nice plots for a personal and an FC (took 2 years on Faerie to get a small ugly plot and another 2 years to relocate to an uglier medium in Goblet) - - with 2 accounts I crossed each account on the other's world for some additional bids and create the FC without have to beg in Limsa Lominsa offering bounties. Not all bad. But the timing of the flip flop Preferred+...Standard...Preferred+ was so spot on LOL I took it VERY personally HAHA.

Well they can't have you have too much free extra exp while they sell level boosts, y'know.

I think I'm just confused about the need for two accounts, since I thought the Preferred+ bonus applied per character and not per account, unless I'm forgetting something.

You can just create another character on your existing account.
