I have seen RMT like this and in many instances have felt a dastardly desire to bring over a mob with an aoe and see how many of them run away or cure themselves.

Well... "Common" sense isn't all that common anymore, now is it?
i felt bad the other day i was leveling up at nophica doing leves, and there were 40 of these rmt guys just standing around and i got an invite -.-
i was like really? i look like rmt?
solution:
1) amass several parties of BLMs/WHMs
2) gather around the zombie RMT horde
3) cast Flare/Holy
4) KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!/DIVINITY!!!
5) Profit
My special technique to get rid of them is this: When you see the character come back to the aetheryte from the leve he just finished, start using /s <t> on all the characters. The worker will see this and will panic and logout all the characters immediately. It works for me everytime! It also helps you to track the names and report them to stfu.

Please point out in the EULA where doing a massive amount of leves ad nauseum is a violation of terms. If anything, they are doing what tanaka and co originally expected us all to do.
Until they actually sell that gil they are making, they are just paying customers like you or I.
Those RMT should start reporting players for harassment. That would be hilarious.
Yeah, you're obviously trolling at this point.
Yep, everyone knows they are RMT, but they aren't selling their ill-gotten Gil or doing anything else aginst the Terms of Service, yet. You'd have to be astoundingly ignorant to not see that most of the people on that screen (not saying all) are working for RMT. Everyone knows about them. I find it amazing that SE doesn't just sit around Cedarwood waiting for the next unsuspecting RMT to come along so they can ban them. I mean, if a government knew about a specific public (and I do mean very specific, down to a few square meters) location where every pickpocket in the country went to at some point, why would they not monitor the area constantly?
They don't just hang around Cedarwood, they're also at Bloodshore and Bearded Rock. I think they go to La Noscea because it's easy to get around (unlike the Shroud) and because there aren't as many people at the camps to report them (unlike Thanalan).
I reported them as RMT once, but I couldn't fit all of the names into the comma-seperated username field. xD There are that many of them.
And while Square Enix does have the right to terminate any account they want, with or WITHOUT reason, at this point those RMT are paying customers and Companies don't get rid of paying customers who aren't currently harming their business, even if they suspect they will at some later time.
For the people who don't know why they are at Cedarwood: They spam a certain leve to farm the Karakul Fleece as well as get the gil rewards x8. They all stay at the camp and take turns popping the leve while 1 high level goes of and AoEs the sheep so they all get a gil reward and the fleece drops, rinse repeat. If you don't believe me go to the wards and look at Karakul Fleece.
All the gil they get as rewards and the gil they get from selling Karakul Fleece is sold online for real money to people who are to lazy to bother making it themselves in the game.
If you defend them or say they do no harm you a fool, they completely mess up the economy by devaluing items, and selling gil in large quantities to other players who then use that gil to buy things that they should have worked for by farming items and selling them or crafting with them and selling the finished product. This cuts out all the processes in between that a good economy is built on.
I would carry on but I'm sure you get the idea.
RMT = Bad for all of us!
NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! Must stay and help fight the clones!
:O
these are some of the funnier threads. When the clone wars begin, the trolls will defend.
Ignore the troll and use them as shields(or bait).
I'm not for RMT and they use BOTs to generate revenue for their main character. What hurts the most is that this will max out the server capacity for casual players if not players with real interest to experience a fun MMO(and not make money).
I see many trolls defending the BOT because it belong to a "real player who pays for the account". How about the real players who cant choose the server where their real friends are because it's full?
I really hope none of these RMT where on long enough to make Legacy status, it would be hilarious to see a name like Gtfoufgufu stfuufgufrmtfmu in the credit! GG SE!
Wake up!
