Event Items & Availability

Iv'e been on and off of FFXIV and everytime iv'e come back i have started over, mainly because i never got far to begin with and wanted to change something about my character, i have pretty much been doing that since beta. I was here for the event with the Christmas Suits, The bikini's, The reindeer suits but i missed out on the yukata one and to top it off i don't have any of the previous event gear that i couldn't trade, so i just have the crafted Santa suit, everything else has been lost.

Which brings me to the point, in the last summer event (The yukata) did they give an option to earn or buy the swimsuits? esthetically i liked how they look and would be nice if i can just look forward to sinking gil into any events i lost now that i think i'm here to stay. I think and will agree it would only be fair that i couldn't because of my decissions to delete and not being able to attend, but it would also be nice to have another chance. Thanks!
