Whats your FFXIV Benchmark? FAST ENOUGH?

If you think your running FFXiv fast, you might be mistakesn. check your FFXIV Benchmark. If your running anything lower than 1500. You are getting a bad video. I thought that I had a fast video card but I was mistaken, when I did a FFXIV Benchmark?

You can get a score of 100-8000. So where are you on this scale and why do you play so slow, lol

Okay first thing is first here is the benchmark FFXiv Official Bench.

    http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/media/benchmark/na/

Now that you know your score, how did you do?

If your running slow, like most of us. First thing is first CHECK THE SPEC'S

Amd Fusion e-350 Dual 1.3 GHZ
    4.0 GB of memory
Ati Radeon HD 4300-4500 Series @ 2.5 GB of Video Memory
    Win-7 Home Edition
    500 GB of Hard-drive Space

sounds fast right. I thought so and then the FFXiv Benchmark said 500 Score. What!!!
Jesus so you better check and get it to 1500-8000 Score.

So now that you know mine, what is yours? and why are you running so slow, lol

Here is a video that you should be thinking about. I feel I am in slow-motion now.

I found the Nvidia Geforce GTx 440 is the least expensive to even qualify on the benchmark.

7,346. However it is very well known that this benchmark is very un reliable. I know ppl that have scored over 10k on it and cant run it worth crap. Likewise i know ppl that have scored under 200 and it runs like a dream. Thats why everyone wants a 2.0 benchmark cause not only do you get a inside look of 2.0 it might actually measure your computers performance.

    Edit________________________
Not as good as a actual benchmark but this might help some ppl out a little better than the official benchmark. Make sure your using a browser with activeX

Thats very nice, as I dont have the pleasure of a 1000, well but all my other games of MMORPG, run clean, like Pandora Saga, or even a DVD-rom installment. So maybe there is some light in the 2.0 Benchmark. If you have any tips, please post them as this is a problem for some but whats the use of running the game full blast, if your not gonna see a difference.

    So what are your SPEC's?

I'm going to geek out now...

First the cards run in MHz... as in megahertz... but that's just a nitpick.

The box actually says It needs an Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2 GHz or Athlon X2 @ 2 GHz CPU and a nvidia GeForce 9600 or ATI Radeon HD 2900 graphics cards as a minimum.

Note the CPU requirements, you are not even close. The speed requirements alone is not enough, forget about architecture of the chips themselves.

Another thing to note, your graphics is integrated. What that means is it is built in to your computer. The 2.5GB memory actually uses your RAM for video memory, where the requirements indicate you should have 512 MB of video memory, as in on the graphics card, not "borrowing" from system memory. Your graphics "card" is no where near what is needed to play this game. You have "entry level" graphics. The minimum requirements state you need at least a "mid-range" if not better graphics card to play.

For the sake of comparison, here is my specs:

    AMD Phenom II x6 1055T CPU oc'd to 3.5GHz
8GB of DDR3 memory @ 1666 MHz (1600 is what it's rated for but to over clock the PC it was tweaked to 1666)
    ATI Radeon HD 7970 3GB
OCZ Agility 3 SSD (Helps a ton with loading time)

I get a score of 5000 to 5200. My FPS ranges from mid-30's in town, 60 FPS outdoors, 40-60 FPS in fights.

If you feel like building your own PC or need ideas for upgrade (if you're not using a laptop... or breaking the warranty if you bought it pre-built), let me point you here:

    http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...pler,3280.html

The $500 PC should be able to run the game @ 720p in a somewhat decent manner. Don't expect maxed out graphics there.
The $1000 PC should be able to run the game smoothly as long as you don't go nuts on the settings.
The $2000 PC will enable you to max everything and be able to run the game... probably.

Not bashing you but your PC/Laptop is not meant to game. It is more of a value based media PC.

wow, so you had to tweak, a few little here and there. Hm, you think I have a labtop, hm no I rebuilt this one, from scratch.

Can you figure what I did, let me let you ponder a bit on that. Well I am a Geek, or Moron, whatever been one since beggining of Time. So you can call me whatever you like but the way I think if your on the computer and typing. You just stepped in the Twilight Zone, haha thats humor, lol so everybody is one to me and so everyone is related somehow, right.

Back to what I was talking about. Yes I plan to buy another Graphic Card, but why if I can tweak to perform like that of which I showed you earlier. Why would I bother with that thought. I am really infatiguated about the On-board, or how did you call it in-tegrated. Sounds kind of funny right. Okay its a small Itx board, why would I have to describe that of which you say you know. Allright,

I know that Msi, Asus, and Gigabyte have been in on this action before with processors built-in but let me tell you about the cube that surrounds this beauty. I dont have a big Klluncker, like that was built in the 90's Everything is moving to the cube or smaller. I wouldnt advertise your store on here. Dont think square-enix likes that but information is nice. Thank you for stopping by.

What did you just type? I didn't call you anything.

Yes I tweak my PC, it's what I enjoy doing. I put that there to show you how I got my score and frame rate.

The site I showed you doesn't sell anything. It's a review site that puts together parts to review based on price. I put it there as reference to help you decide what parts you want to upgrade.

I wasn't sure if you had a laptop or a desktop, that's why I put "PC/Laptop" which means PC or laptop. You have to realize the E350 is a very popular chip for low cost laptops.

All I showed you, Bastok, is how far away from the minimum specs SE placed on their box and gave you a link to a solid review site. They put together parts list based on current market price then reviews them and rates the value of the builds.

I'm sorry you got offended (I think, your post is really hard to comprehend.) but you did ask for other people's specs, and score. I sort of hinted at it, but I guess you didn't pick up my hint. You need a new computer. Your current CPU cannot handle this game.

If you want the ITX boards you can absolutely do that. BitFenix has a new case that can fit large graphics cards. It is called the BitFenix Prodigy, see review and build pictures here:

    http://www.anandtech.com/show/5867/b...rmable-miniitx

Just leave out the HDD cage and you should be able to fit all the latest GPUs even the huge GTX680s if that's what you want. Zotec seems to put out the best featured micro-ITX boards out with WIFI and everything, just to add another brand for you to consider.

wow I dont mean to offend, but if your a guy, I dont like to come off if I am not up to your level, but if your a girl, im sorry. I just do that to get you to see what I mean. I get really excited when I talk and ideas form as I speak. I am sorry but it is how I comprehend most sentences. I see what you mean and then I analyze another way for you to do something. I know its a little much but I am a multi-tasker, at the same time. I dont know doesnt seeem like there is nothing wrong with me its just how I talk and come about. Did I say that in my writings as I seem hostile, or uh mean. No im not, this is not Capitalized so im okay, I have had a hard life, but you dont wanna hear that. So well, thats how I type and everything. Its just me.

Does that make sense or do I have to go back to the Beggining or End of your sentence.

Why buy? When I can build my Own.....

All built from scratch. I dont like companies like Compaq, Dell, Hewlett Packard, excuse me uh Gateway. I believe if you achieve something dont look back.

You asked about the Zotac, lol well uh my friend had that from me 5 yrs ago, well if you consider the E-350 a Zotack, I guess you could. You see, its something like it but its nothing like it. The Zotak, lol it looks like a pill box for a commercial when it lights up and everything, okay where was I oh, it has a nice Intel processor but not to my liking, just doesnt have enough ram, 2GB is not a good cup of tea with Win-7, maybe Xp.

No room for expansion, good luck fitting a DVD-rom in there, wont happen. So you gotta get external ones. Did you have more to say? Its amusing to talk to one so little of the information that is outdated. haha

Oh, I'm not offened at all, I just wasn't sure if you were or not because of

"So you can call me whatever you like but the way I think if your on the computer and typing. You just stepped in the Twilight Zone, haha thats humor, lol so everybody is one to me and so everyone is related somehow, right."

In terms of Zotec I was thinking about this:

    http://www.zotacusa.com/zotac-h77-it...77itx-b-e.html

    with:

    http://www.zotacusa.com/geforce-gtx-...60101-10p.html

    and this:

    http://ark.intel.com/products/52214/...to-3_80-GHz%29

+ choice RAM HDD DVD etc... in the bitfenix case I mentioned.
