Hamlet Questions (full loot lists and effects of provisioning?)

I've done a bucket load of hamlets myself so I know a fair bit about what to do and where some of the items I want drop from. But there doesnt seem to be much easy to find information on provisioning and full drop lists from each area etc. So with that....

What does provisioning actually do? I know it gives you extra points and makes it easier to hit 60k but is that it?

Is there a difference between 1 2 3 4 5 - 20? Does it affect drops in any way?

Is it true that the accessories only drop with a top 3 or that number 1 = 100% drop rate?

Is it true that some stuff only drops if your 4-20 so if your top 3 you won't get it?

Is there a full list of possible loots from each location along with any pre-reqs to get them other than the standard 60k+. i.e tools / accessories.?

Most of the hamlet info I've seen is pretty much just tells you how to get 60k+ and other such info. I dont really have a problem getting the 60k+ just trying to understand the provisioning as some people would like the tools and accessories etc.

A lot of what I've heard is mostly grapevine so I don't know to much about how being a provisioner actually works as there's so many contradicting answers.

Having a provisioner in your party gives youa boost in points and allows for tradebale Crafting or Gathering drops to come from the NPC at the end to the provisioner. There is a chance that an untradeable Gathering hat may drop into the party loot.

If you are a Top 3 provisioner you get to have a chance that a seal comes from the NPC at the end of the battle. The same chance does not apply to the party. Otherwise there is no difference.

Actually if you are a top 3 yo will not get regular drops from the NPC only currency or a seal.
So if you want militia tools or bracelets you do not want to be top 3.

Even if it wasn't false, an item could still drop for you from the chest.

no Bracelets and Wristlets CANNOT drop to you from the chest. they are provisioner drops only

Yep, Crimzon just said it... this is entirely false; and I have screenies to prove it. The drop rate on seals now is beyond logical comprehension.

Matter of fact, (and this info is for the OP)...when I have a moment, I will look on my external hard drive for pics where 1st and 3rd provisioner were in party (heck, there were times when even three of the top 10 were in PT)... and we didn't get nada but armet four times in a row...(surprise surprise)

Due to my usual log in times at wee hours of the night, I also do Hamlet with several of my Japanese friends, so you must keep in mind that this ridiculous drop rate is a "global" thing. For now, to buttress my point here's one of the screenshots, showing #3 provisioner in PT...



And a pic of our average score (usually between 68k to 69k)...



The result? An avalanche of nothing but armet and perhaps a pair of duckbills here or there. Matter of fact, this re-occurance of having top provisioners within excellent runs but hardly ANY seals actually seems to have become much worse in the past few weeks... which is also why I have personally given up trying to attempt relics until 2.0.

Yeah... just found a few more of my screenshots with #1 Provisioner in PT. Also currently looking for the ones I had with four top 10 provisioners in PT and the drops were still crap, with no seal... might do that after I finish dinner.

See, I started taking a vast amount of these pics because after you do your billionth run and you start noticing the insane drop rates, you get so irritated it becomes comical. Hence why some friends began joking that it would be unbelievable if one just TOLD people. Afterall, pics or it didn't happen, yes?

Here's one shows that we had #1 provisioner, including the 9th and 10th in PT...

Again, I must emphasize... these kind of drops were not isolated results whereby it happened once in a rare while or some random rubbish. Nah... these were regular drops three, four, sometimes five times in a row. In a few cases, the system seems to feel a measure of pity for you and drops one seal within a few runs.

Now, can you begin to imagine how frustrated many players feel after going through all the stress of spending funds and crafting resources just to get on that Provisioner list? And then getting no seal?

*Shrugs*... like I said, personally I'm kinda done chasing relics. Couple more armour drops from Hamlets and I'm done with that event altogether.

YES! you know, I think this is actually a bug and should be reported. I've gotten many 67k + runs in a row where nothing dropped but the default hat. And then I do another run of 50k-64k runs and get tons of seals.

Nod nod... I've had that a couple times as well whereby we get 50k+ (sometimes because someone DC-ed), with no provisioner in PT and a seal would drop. We'd all be like... "Huh?!!!"

Dunno anymore... like I said, in my personal experience Hamlet drop rates now defies all logical comprehension and reasoning. I'm done trying to figure it out.
