[AFTER NOV 1ST] - 2 Questions to the devs.

I would like to know:

1 - what will happen to our inventory items? And what of our retainer's and bazaars'? As far as I know we'll have less inventory space... right now many are sitting on 500+ items (self, self-bazaar, retainers, retainers' bazaar)... it would be cool to have a special safe into the inn rooms with all our items inside.

2 - When will you be releasing the missable items/content list? ... October 15?

They said that somewhere? I always thought we would just have 500/300 inv, and cant put anything in till its atleast 299/300.
But an NPC is a nice move by SE :-)

Retainers are meant to go from 150 to 100 and Self from 200 to 100 last I recall, overflow items I imagine would probably go into some sort of stasis storage, limbo as it were, until retrieved. Anything acquired after november 1st just wont really exist after the 10th at all, as far as that goes.

But here's a different thing - You have 2 full months to get those numbers down so you dont have to worry about overflow storage or the unfortunate circumstance of items being lost in transition as they drop inventory levels for yourself and your retainer. Get stuff repaired, toss it in your armoire, get stuff sold (try changing your prices maybe?) and just stop being a little hoarder lol Back when AF was about to release I did this same thing, went through my main retainer and started to liquidate random materials and gear I most likely wasn't going to reuse in the future after AF's release, currently sitting around 50/150 on one retainer, 90/150 on another retainer (so much freaking lvl 1/2 materia..ugh) and my own personal inventory flucuates often just due to random drop loot. But anyways, what I'm saying is, you have two months to manage your inventory.

Drop loots lead to inventory space filling up. Inventory space filling leads to crying for more inventory options. Crying leads to retainers and storage to lessen inventory stress. Lessened stress only lasts until more inventory levels are full. This leads to hoarding. Hoarding leads to lalafels getting lost in your closet until you sell through the messes looking for the smell.

I dunno about you but I usually run around with 150/200 on me and at least 100 of those slots are gear. With the new gear set system your gear will be taken out of your inventory so it's not really limiting as it might seem at first.

the inventory increase was only temporary. With 2.0 we get better inventory management like gears on your chars and gear sets don't be in the inventory.

Maybe I sell all the NQ mats in my inventory before november.

Yoshi also said something about a mannequin system that will help to alleviate inventory woes too so that will help greatly.

And with them requiring separate gear for all classes/jobs, including DoH and DoL they really need to do something drastic with inventory. I could not imagine playing xi with my 480 spaces of inventory if I had to have full gear sets for each of my jobs and crafts. Even something simple as weapons would overflow if my thf and dnc couldnt share daggers and my rdm and blu couldnt share swords, etc. Its the little things that add up.
