I would be potentially up to pay the extra sub, if it where at actual cost and as convenient as a simple addon like a retainer to my sub on the mogstation. Coin packages are neither. I guess we'll see on Tuesday how this actually going to work.

Scummy pricing, I was considering trying the game out on switch since cozy gaming can be nice but not when they want to implement dark patterns like that. They should let people buy the amount they need not force overspending. I can buy a specific amount of crysta, no reason players shouldn't be allowed to buy a specific amount of coins.

I would of been interested if you just had to buy the releases like every other system, then it went off your Sub you have. But Nintendo had to have their own sub just for the game, and that straight away killed any thought of getting the Switch edition

How do you know this? Because if you look at Xbox the setup is the same...soooo it would appear the issue is SE. Also of note you do not need a NSO to play the game which is better than Xbox players who now have to pay two subscriptions to play.

Every other platform functions under the one subscription fee. Nintendo's condition to allow the game to be playable without NSO was to instate a console-bound subscription.
