    Crafting Specialization

Sort of like in 11 where only one craft could get to max level.

Maybe we could do a quest for our chosen craft which would give us mastery in that craft. Then after that point we'd have access to master recipes for items that would be very useful.

As an Alchemist I'm finding it very difficult to make gil after coming back. Glue was my main way of making gil and I don't see pots selling very well.

As a Goldsmith... well it almost seems like everyone is a Goldsmith now.

Mr. Yoshi has already addressed this issue, he said he will have crafting for casual gamers, and then crafting for the more hardcore gamers. Of course this will be in 2.0, and he said that in one of his letters. I'm not quite sure which one it was though...so i'm sorry about that.

I am a winner, even though I sometimes fail.

I think this will go against the current way the game is thought out. The current idea is that all players should be able to experience all aspects of the game. If you specialize in one craft as you could (should) in FFXI, you would, by choosing one craft, exclude yourself from doing the same in other crafts.

So I don't see this happening and I myself would also prefer that it was kept as is.
