I wish we'd get rid of most (if not all) of the 10-20 mobs per pull. It doesn't feel very Final Fantasy 'ish. The AOE spam fest sort of takes away from the "oooh ahhh" of each mob in the game. I'd prefer pulls of 1-4 mobs at most, and just beef up their health pool and abilities. Pulling trains and using every AOE we've got feels like we're not using any skill. It is very boring. Bring back the "badass" feeling of even the simplest trash mob guarding the room to a final boss in a dungeon or perhaps a puzzle event in a labyrinth that requires you to coordinate killing an epic pre-boss with conditions.
