Dissidia devs should take notes from ff14 devs

Modern dissidia is a joke and the only thing it has in common with the psp goats is a name.
It's insane how they thought making dissidia a forced 3v3 esports wanna be with no world map wasn't gonna flop. The forced 3v3 worsened the original game's problems of areans being to big by a magnitude.

The new summon system abandoned all the strategy of buffing and debuffing from the original and traded it in for aoe spam that made matches coin flippy as to whether you get rushed down because you got stunned by 1 of 100 aoes.

Also ex burst, the dissidia limit break mechanic is completely gone.

Square also had the audacity to release two mobile games with dissidia in the name. Dissidia Opera Omnia was a mid gacha game that was fun but lacked the quality of brave exvius imo. Both games got shut down in a short few years. peoples stuff they spent money or time on just vanished forever.

The newest dissidia duellum is the most souless garbage ive ever seen. Guys imagine we had an expansion where wol is just isekai'd to modern day tokyo and the combat devolves to a bad ps1 beat em up game. Not only that but the lighting is so bad it makes the worst parts of the graphics update look tame. They also gave Kain a fedora im not joking

THe ff14 team has made stuff many players have complained about or taken away things we like but thankfully nothing this maddening. Square Enix please just remaster dissidia 012 on modern hardware holy moly

Even though I agree with all of your points, and Dissidia was significantly better on PSP, I don't know what you're trying to accomplish on the XIV forums. You think Yoshi P is going to take over Dissidia, too?

I think I'm potentially helping people on here not try some of squares absolute worst garbage and guiding them to a good dissidia game on psp

The new Dissidia game is probably one of the numerous dead-end projects Square-Enix threw money and manpower at instead of FF14.

The Blue Mage update likely died so we could get pay-to-win mobile PVP slop. What a deal.

I just wish the mobile games would be preserved as single player experiences. Like how cool would it be to have Record Keeper again? At least FF Resonance is kind of like this right but with Exvius??

It’s sad because I love Square Enix games and always want to play everything they release but with the Mobile games I know they get shut down so quickly and I like to take my time to play games on my own time schedule.

I really really really hope times infinity that FF7 First Soldier gets a console release with local split screen because I LOVED that game so much. So very very much. It was sooo fun. I really hope it at least gets a single player release or is a mini game in FF7 Revelation or something. It felt so incredibly satisfying to play and being able to run around the big maps as random events happened was just… too much for me but in a good way. In the best way.

Also yes I know Dissidia 012 is a kind of upgrade to the original but I still hope they both get an HD release someday. With all my heart I hope, Dissidia and First Soldier get to come back.

The PSP Dissidia games are superb and I really do hope we'll get modern console and PC ports.

Dissidia NT had cool music and aesthetics, but the gameplay didn't appeal to me.

I haven't played Duellem. I have become disinterested in supporting Square-Enix Mobile titles after they unceremoniously canceled SINoAlice. FFVII: Ever Crisis and FFXIV Mobile being on the chopping block have not improved my prospects.
