Not to mention in FFXI racial bonuses mainly went to:

- Mithra could eat raw sea food.
- Galka could eat raw meats.

That's so minor that being against it is really just disagreeing with an idea for no reason -- The stat differences in FFXI only mattered early levels, end game levels everyone was boosted through gear progression and buffs, not because you have 5-7 int higher than another race, which is almost nothing end-game.

Lv99 Taru BLM has 14 more INT than a Lv99 Elvaan BLM

That is a big difference, and no piece of gear makes up for that. dINT isn't an imaginary stat in XI.

STR is also relevant, Elvaan would have 11 more STR than a Taru, this heavily favors Elvaan because of the way WSC works, allowing for alternative (better) gear choices in some slots.

DEX, Mithra DEX is 96 vs Elvaan 86...or potentially 10% critical hit rate when dDEX is >40.
