Several of my friends have all dow / dom at 50 plus some crafts at 50. After all that work I wouldn't blame them if they kept with the same characters.
On the other hand though, I'll be holding off leveling until 2.0 hits.![]()

Trying to get 7/7 on all primals before 2.0 as they'll no longer be obtainable. That's pretty much all I've been doing aside from leveling the rest of my craft. I have been getting bored and frustrated lately, though.
Re-rolling is not an option for me either, but I'll mess around since I'm a Legacy member.
I'm working hard to get my last luminary tools but struggling to finish Botanist and Fisher if the servers go down end of September so I desperately hope 1.23 stays up until at least end of October.

Working on my relic... stupid spirit bonding... :/
They haven't said the primal battles will be removed or that the weapon drops from them will be no longer optainable.
I do feel like playing and in some weird way I feel like 2.0 is coming way too fast for me. I feel like I have so many things I want to do in the current version! My personal to-do-list at the moment includes leveling last of my DoWs (3 to go), beating the dungeons with LS group (AV) and defeating Garuda.
I'm hoping they'll add a new class / job (ARC/SMN) for the release so I can experience the new content with that.

I'm debating if I should take advantage of the stupid easy EXP and level other jobs while I keep farming Hamlet drops, or just pause and catch up on other things
like taking out the trash, eating, going for a walk, finding a girlfriend.....
Kinda yeah.
I mean, I haven't even gone into the moon controlling fort thing yet, but I feel like I need to.
Yeah, I'd miss out on the final fight, raven earrings, horn crown, and worshiper ring, but I don't feel much drive to try.
I will not reroll (maybe an alt though). I'm still working on those discontinued achievements, so I've been busy enough. And I spend WAY too much time crafting my already 50 craft, and generally milling about to be at risk of reaching all 50 by 2.0. So I'll still have some lower level stuff to play with.
I'm not hesitant to level, obviously from my signature, but I do agree, I'm bored as heck. I don't log in very often anymore, and it's not like I rushed to level 50 either. I have done the primals enough times that I have at least double weapons of everything for Ifrit and Moogle. Garuda is another story. You need a dedicated static party to complete that, and it just becomes a pain in the arse, really to even bother.I'm a loss here guys! I got my Goobbue mount but after seeing a little of what 2.0 has to offer... I'm a little hesitant to level. Does anyone feel the same way? I know it's a little silly, but starting as a 50 feels like cheating! I could totally reroll I know! Guess I'm just waiting for the SEs anniversary to see the release of more jobs. I have this feeling that 2.0 is going to have more content for just leveling purposes rather than endgame content. SE Basically building the game from the ground up!!
What are your alls thoughts? Rerolling? What are your plans pre 2.0? Also, do you think SE is going to raise level cap before adding more end game content?
Also, a warning for you OP, don't assume or have a "feeling' that 2.0 is going to have more content for leveling purposes. You are raising your expectations without justification.
Bottom line is this, if you enjoy the game now, then play it. If you don't like the content now, don't expect any major changes in 2.0 anytime "soon". Hope this helps!
