No level cap?

I bought the starter edition, so have the first two expansions. I understood that I would be level capped at 70. However, I just reached a level of 71. No level cap? I was actually looking forward to being at the level of the material.

Edit: I am currently post HW, so now 11 levels above the material.

The starter edition gives you the first three expansions (Heavensward, Stormblood, and Shadowbringers), so your level cap should be 80.

Thanks, I could have sworn I read that I get only two expansions, but looking again, I do get the first three. doh!

They changed it a little over a month ago. It used to be 2 expansions/level 70 cap with the starter. So its only recently that they added the extra content to that package. But in being fair, if someone had previously bought it they now have the same access as someone who bought it after the change was made. The typical advice we offer for not over-leveling the story is to grab an extra class(or two!) and go back and forth. Being in post-HW, you could grab one that starts at 50/60 so that you either dont have to do TOO much to catch up(starting at 50) or so that you were right back at the story level(starting at 60).
