Cause ya know data is expense and SE is poor. Lost all my posters and stuff from seasonal events. Great wonderful. When I come back the house plot is empty and available. Wonderful I re submit into the lottery. Cool. Great. I was the only one to bid gonna get it. GREATTTTTTT.

Not trying to defend a flawed housing system but that's not the games fault, it's yours.

If you're gonna do a time sensitive task such as placing a housing bid - set a reminder.

Being the only one bidding doesn't give you unlimited time to accept the plot.

The only thing agree with is that when your house get demolished your items are placed in a temporary database that will be erased after a while. That’s meh.
I lost seasonal items too, which some of them I bough from Mogstation.

That sucks.
I’m not sure how the game structure works, but wouldn’t be better if some feature were client-based instead server-based?

As the others said, I agree with your things being deleted being terrible when many are limited and cost money to get again. But on your other points, that is your fault, clearly the plot wasn't important enough for you to remember to check in on.

May I suggest an apartment? It doesn't have demolition time limits.
It seems housing isn't exactly your priority and this would be a better use case.
