Solo Duty: Where we call home

    Hello All

It's so far... I must - again - go through a solo duty where I will play something different than my own class (Krile).

I would like to try suffering/struggling less than the previous ones. Do you have some hints to help me preparing for that one?

    Thanks in advance

There's no immediate need to engage in combat whenever these happen.
Just take a moment to read the tooltips. You're not playing as an actual Pictomancer, you play as a truncated version of it. Very simple combos that generally do way more damage than is normal and also an overpowered healing skill.
This is pretty much true for all of them. A quick understanding of these overpowered skills the "roleplayer" gets makes the duty much more manageable.

I can pull up the footage and really break it down if you like. Its not that long of a duty, its not that mechanically complex. Wouldnt be very hard to do. Its been just long enough ago that i dont remember the specific details, and the instance wasnt memorable enough to imprint on me otherwise id just do it live. What i do remember is that Krile felt overpowered compared to more or less every other NPC from recent memory. Her AoE was really strong, her single target was really strong, and i think she had a decent heal too. Also, being a caster her style should be close enough to what youre used to as a summoner that you shouldnt feel super uncomfortable.

I appreciate your previous struggling, and desire to avoid repeating that experience. But honestly, this fight is probly easy enough that you can just roll through. But as i said, if you do want the more point by point breakdown i can make it happen.

Thank you All. I'm for now too tired to give it a try, but once so far, will provide feedback.

Yeah, id say give it one try. If you fail but see that you were making good progress then go again as you see fit. If you try it and it brick walls you just come back and let us know. I know i can find the footage again if needed.

I got rid of it in two steps:
    1) As Krille: it was easy enough.
    2) Against the boss: I died when he was at about 10% health left. I had the nice surprise that we can retake the duty at midway and change the mode! So I took very easy mode and got rid of the boss fortunately.

Nothing to be proud of and no big fun as usual, but at least, it's done on first go.

That is more or less what i was expecting(plus or minus the 10% death). So congrats on putting another one of these behind you.
