Expanded Chocobo Customization

I would like to request with the upcoming expansion the ability to dye our Chocobo bardings and even further expand the colors we are able to dye our Chocobo with food. Neon, pastel and even metallic. The colors we already have in game to dye our gear. They can even have rare food to give the Chocobo to grant these colors. Perhaps the seeds are gathered in the new areas or rare currency. Maybe even maps or new content if they are to be rare. Just being able to dye bardings with the 2 channels would give nice customization.

I support any kind of update for our companions since it's fallen off since like ShB with zero updates to scale to DT content now.

Chocobos got a small number of animations updates in 7.5, and in the liveletter that covered this update, YoshiP mentioned this is a "token gesture to show they haven't forgotten", and that more updates will come in the future, what those updates will be, as well when they will happen, is a whole other question, but it is at least one pip above complete radio silence on the subject.
