Square Enix really needs to work on this urgently if bosses have such a short lifespan, even after a few patches within the same expansion.Next, it's the dead stars. The rest of the bosses have been power-creeped at this point. You can kill Tablet before the adds show up. You can kill Marble Dragon before having to worry about the last phase or even before the throttle on some players. You can now even kill Magitaur before Holy Lance. However, you can never kill dead stars before their dust cloud fight. Even now at this point, people are killing the bosses during the ice minion, you still have to do the aoes, the tb+plus stack and fire guy's mechs and dodge the cleaves before the fight ends. There are "kill times" of 2 and a half minutes but the fight will not end until 6 minutes. It was a good fight progging but just was so tedious after the fact.

Initial frustration stemmed from this part of the raid, and one person's mistake could wipe out the entire alliance. I can't fathom why they didn't just fix that part to make it a smoother experience for people to prog.Next, it's the dead stars. The rest of the bosses have been power-creeped at this point. Just let me but the Magitaur card for 9999 gold pieces and I will politely and quietly ignore Forked Tower's existence.
They really need to have a talk with the dev who made Dead Stars, it's possibly one of the most inappropriately designed fights in the game. Creating an HP lock fight when the content is designed to be powercrept over time is pretty dumb, but the randomly assigned raid wipe mechanics in a 48 man raid are even dumber. I don't understand how we go from DRS style fights to this.It also doesn't help that in regards to FT now, there are still two big time wasters here. The first one is that fact you always have to wait 11 minutes before you can do forked tower itself. Every time you enter a new instance you always have to wait 11 minutes before you can enter the dungeon. This is especially egregious compared to DRS where you enter it instantly. This also isn't counting the time unless it's preformed on who takes what job and what level they are at that job, which plays a huge part.

Forked Tower Magic is now out and with a normal version, so yay for that. But what I still want and I'm sure many do as well is for the devs to freaking make a normal version of Blood already. If they can alter savage raid difficulty for the hardcore raiders because they made it a little too hard then intended and make it easier for the hardcore raiders to enter forked tower blood with a preformed group then can sure as hell make normal version. But they keep stupidly refusing to. Why? Are they just that incompetent and or lazy? And no, I'm not buying the lack of resources cop-out.

Still agree. Why should the majority of the playerbase be excluded from an entire area of the relic story?Forked Tower Magic is now out and with a normal version, so yay for that. Literally all they have to do is just remove the resurrect limit and it would fix like 90% of the issues people have with Forked Tower Blood. If they want to do the extra step of getting rid of the remaining 10%, then just make the wipe mechanics barely surviveable.
I have no idea why are they so effing stubborn about this and dont want to fix this trainwreck.
Kudos to them tho, they added the TT card and the boss notes from that hellhole to an NPC in North...too bad the last note in the previous map is a visage point inside FT:B after the boss kill so you still cant complete the notes without suffering through FT:B.

You mean adding a normal mode for blood? That actually would be nice, and I certainly don't believe in the "lack of resource" argument they were trying to make in defence of not having one.Literally all they have to do is just remove the resurrect limit and it would fix like 90% of the issues people have with Forked Tower Blood. They did take Forked Tower out back Old Yeller style. The card and notes can be purchased with the currency from the new tower. It takes 15 to get all the notes and the card which means you just have to run it twice to get the notes and card from the first tower.
You still cannot get all the notes tho, one of them is a visage point inside the tower after the last boss.
