Hello my dears,
So let me paint the problem. The game starts up like normal I get the menu all seems fine and good. Then depending on which character I select it will eitherway crash upon loading in. That's said I select the character you get the nice load screen and... game closes...
(Malboro character, she is in Lavender Beds)
On an other character (on Kujata) the character does load in, I can enter the FC house she is parked in front of (Mist) but when I open the FC menu and want to check the member list it blanks and the game crashes
My Ragnarok Alt also crashes in the load screen (also in Mist)
I have no addons my game is pure as it was downloaded, and I redownloaded it a few times to see if it fixes things, but alas, no. I think something inside the laptop isn't happy with the game. Software side probably. Something in the drivers, but I have no clue what it could be.
Do have to say my game isn't on the C drive since Dawn Trail because the game is too big for my C drive. I got a laptop that has C on a smaller SSD, then a D drive of a TB HDD and I have an external SSD (E drive) of a TB on the side it's on a solid spot can't move.
The problem persists no matter if I home the game on D or E. I suspect I'd even have it if I could place the game on C which really isn't possible I only have 67,6 GB left on there (not a joke, I know the number makes its rounds as a meme thing)
I did have some error in the start, but now it just crashes without flair when I try to do anything.
For the time being I can still log in on my steamdeck, but I like to have my options in general my laptop is fine. I was able to play main DT from the external SSD (E drive) just fine, just the patches since are so/so I had this problem once before but one patch sort of fixed it about last Summer perhaps, and it was good for a while I thought. Until lately it just being a cardhouse yet again. So I haven't really been able to play as much as I'd like.
I can add system information in a next post I just didn't feel like smushing it in this post.
Thank you for reading, hopefully we can find a solution
