Square Enix and strong sounding woman.. lolEach one had great moments, but that grand prize winner all but nailed it.
... No, I take it back. The 5th time through it still gives me goosebumps. Sign him up. Use it.
I would have liked to have heard a female voice, too, but think of how many pros fall short portraying a believable strong woman warrior. And with that material, I think the males had a very strong advantage.
From hearing a lot of SE picks for voice actors on the female side of things.. I dont think they really care.
Though I doubt Soken or someone like that picked the wining voices out themselves.

I'm with the camp that is a touch disappointed in the lack of even one female as a runner up. The event did mention that we were allowed to take deviations as long as they weren't too drastic, yet most of the winners had little variety from one another. Maybe there should have been a runner up list of best representation reading it as each race and type to better express the world as a whole.
I would have liked to see an actual female finalist. :\
Still, I enjoyed listening to the winners! Lots wider vocal range than I expected.

I supposed I've kept my entry to myself for long enough. I kinda agree with the general consensus that the lack of female winners was disappointing and that many of the winners sound very similar to the original, but with more action trailer voices. That said, Aqualin's entry was my favorite and I have no qualms with the choice of grand prize winner.
