The Lieutenant-rank bow should be superior to the Giantsgall bow, unless you manage a crazy meld. Just another option.

Oh yes. I forgot about those!

They are quite nice too, especially if you go with the full set of GC gear to get the bonus. Non-meldable and require quite a few guild tokens (especially if you aren't already up to Second Lieutenant)... but nice.
