Why are the workstations of the final tools just the base level 1 appearance when EW final step had brand new upgraded ones? Why not just use those? These tools just look sad now in comparison

I made a thread in the Disciples of the Hand forum last patch, commenting even then on the Hyper tool crafting table appearances, but I don't think that forum gets a whole lot of traffic. It really is odd that they haven't changed these when the Splendorous Tools start with the same basic tool table, but then slowly change into an upgraded table, and then a brand new high-detailed table at the Lodestar level.
This odd quirk of the Cosmic tools mixed with the final glow, I personally find both the Lodestar and Dragonsung tools to be more visually pleasing.

Came here to make this exact post. I was expecting at LEAST the same workstations as the Splendorous Tools.
I really hope this is an oversight and can be patched. For these to be the pinnacle tools of Dawntrail they look pretty bad with the basic workstations.

Nice to see I’ll be getting these tools to just glam them back to splenderous again
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Yes, grinding and waiting for the next relic step for over a year made the final step feel super disappointing! Alchemist seems to have a glow at least, hoping others are just bugged.![]()

Meanwhile fishers having to be content to sit on the same little wooden seat since ARR.

It is pretty disappointing ngl, and a bit silly visually to hold an high-tech RGB glowstick tool over crafting stations that amount to sticks and stones. I hope they can go back and at least bump up the workbench to a better looking pre-existing model
