What is Each Server/World Known For

Hello,

I've recently resubbed after about a 2 year hiatus - its taken some time for me to shake the rust off and re-learn certain actions/mechanics which has been both fulfilling and frustrating. Now that I've grasped the basics again I am searching for more of a community and a reason to stay within the game. Which leads me to my question.
Where are the people at?

I'm assuming the game is in "lull" period as there isn't any major content releasing soon which explains why my FC and Friends List is inactive.
I'm truly lacking a community within the game, so much so that it seems like a single-player game most of the time.

In order to branch out, I have been visiting other worlds & data centers scoping out different areas searching for a temporary home during this downtime and getting a taste for each server but I have no idea where to begin or what each world is known for.

From memory and what I've experienced so far:
Faerie is predominately lgbtq+ (my current home)
Balmung is (e)rp
Gilgamesh is raiders/end-game.

Truthfully; I'm not sure if there is really any labels/trends for other servers but if there is, I would love to hear about them.

What is your server known for?
What are your recommendations/suggestions in this situation?

Honestly, the developers have mentioned that same-region player matching will be available soon... E.g., so instead of queueing and going in PF for just a single DC, it will match you across the region, so Aether, Crystal, Dynamis and Primal.

So many of these things will matter a lot less... I would see how each server/DC is for you, without paying much heed to those labels or trends.

Gilgamesh is also a heavy LGBTQ+ server.

We have at least 5 exclusive LGBTQ+ major free companies.

There's at least 100 LGBTQ-friendly free companies.

Gilgamesh has been an LGBTQ+ server since 2013, long before it went the route of raiding.

I wouldn't know... are you looking for an active server? Because usually for that, I go to Faerie lol.

Adamantoise, my server, is like a small town compared to Faerie. That said, I wouldn't know how to tell you what it's identity is.

IDK about ABCDEFG, but Primal Behemoth has a lot of Brazilians. They're pretty cool players too.

Sargatanas seems to be very raid oriented with plenty of casual idling and chat in major towns. A little bit of rp in the party finder.

My vague understanding was that Aether is for raiding, Crystal is for Roleplaying, Primal is for PvP and Dynamis is still very new so it’s more quiet and layed back. Beyond that I’m not sure.

However, once the region matchmaking (all NA gets matched/party finder together, etc) happens, that will effectively remove all sense of a data center community for every dc. So it will really just come down to the individual worlds at that point.

Balmung is very friendly when it does come to housing - people ask you often if you have a place to stay and to sleep.

I wouldn't leave aether yet before they officially release the region-wide DF/PF too since I heard it's much slower in Dynamis or Primal for even old raiding content on it's PF like I do glam farms for p4s so I'd like to gather as big of an audience I can find there and my home world here.

Primal: PVP/Rival wings during mogtome events (3rd biggest DC)

Crystal: Home of RP/venues (2nd biggest DC)

Dynamis: Plenty of open housing/venues since they have the fewest players, but most sprouts are funneled here since 2 of the other DC are Congested. Also, you can do a free transfer here since it's Preferred+ on some worlds, so you get the Road to 80 buff for any alt jobs you might want to level up faster too.
