SE should have logs of the crashes and GM's to help people who lose items like this. I can't see how anyone would not want this in a MMO. o.O

its not a crash, its a timeout. the server either cant handle the load so it starts dropping packets, or the local client isn't being updated by the server so the client freaks out and terminates the connection.

Or you know, your personal connection hiccuped or disconnected and lost enough packets to SE and it kicked you off? There's always that possibility too because I know when my internet connection gets unstable I get kicked from FFXI/FFXIV/Skype/MSN etc.
