FF15 & FF16 event rerun?

I was talking with some friends the other day about how I'd love to see the 15 and 16 events rerun, especially since it's been almost two years since they last ran. I feel like both of them would be great additions to the Evercold waiting room, especially considering the rewards for both are very heavily focused in the Gold Saucer and with Make It Rain coming up soon. I doubt they'd rerun any time soon, but it would still be nice to see.

The main obstacle I see to this is... the last time these events ran was before Dawntrail dropped with its big graphics overhaul. I wouldn't be surprised if what's preventing a rerun right now is that they'd have to update event character models, which, to them, might be more effort than it's worth.

Though if that is the case, I hope they decide to add the rewards to the cash shop, like they did with the FF13 event rewards. I'd hate for these particular rewards to no longer be obtainable in any way ever gain.

hopefully they do because id like to get the regalia on a few of the alts i actually use that i didnt have at the time !

I really hope it returns soon myself as I have an alt I have been investing a lot of time in who I would love to use the hairstyle and the mounts would be great to have.

I don't personally need the items anymore but I absolutely love seeing cross-overs with other final fantasy games !!
With so many new players coming in (including some of my friends I got into the game recently), I'd love them to have a chance to get them too ! (♡ˊ͈ ꒳ ˋ͈)

What justifies it that, even when these titles are not great, we don't deserve the collab and the items from it again for the other players to acquire that haven't been around or missed out from last time?

Regardless of whether the games were good or bad, players who missed out on it last time definitely deserve a chance to do the collab and get the rewards from them! I did the events myself, but didn't do them on all the characters I would have liked to in hindsight. I also have several friends who would absolutely jump on giving 14 a try just for the collab events if they were rerun because they love 15 or 16 respectively.

FFXV event was replayed between X.55 and the new expansion with both ShB and EW. Chances are it's gonna come back again around that time. For FFXVI, we haven't had any rerun yet, so it's hard to say but on litterally nothing but my guts, chances are it's gonna be the same.

FF15 always happens in the last few months leading up to the next expansion, so it's sooner than what you might expect.

FF16 happened like one-two months before DT release date. So I'd imagine FF15 to start soon, then FF16 follows up with it if they intend on re-running it.
