Data Center and World availability

Hello y\\'all, I\\'m not too new of a player but I\\'m asking this question for a new player who\\'s trying to join me.

Im trying to get my Friend (free trial player) to come join me on my current data center (Crystal) and world (Diabolos) but it stays consistently congested 24/7 even in the off hours Like Mondays and Tuesdays between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. and I\\'m just not sure what to do any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh I've noticed that sort of thing tends to happen when using a smartphone to post things and yeah, it's annoying (this is why I hate smartphones), so don't worry about it.

As for data centre availability, unfortunately, Crystal has kind of become the data centre to be (originally it was just Balmung that tended to be locked on it, but now every server is locked),a nd so there is no way of having new players start on it.

The only thing I can suggest is maybe have your friend start on another server and use data centre travel (rather than world visit), to visit whatever data centre/server they start on. It's not ideal, but there is no indication of when Crystal will once again be available to create new characters on I'm sorry.

That is very unfortunate because I really love the Crystal data Center and the world I'm on and I wanted her to experience it with me as well...

I know with your standard account you can have eight characters created is it possible to create another character on a different Data Center then my original character? So if she joins a Data Center and a world that's got empty space would I be able to create a new character on that data center and world to play with her but still have my original on Crystal?

Standard accounts have up to 40 possible characters total with a maximum eight per server (not data centre).

And yes, you can still create another new character on an entirelly different data centre with your original one intact (you just have to remember change the data centre and region on the main title screen before creating a new character, and then change the data centre again when you want to play on your original character).

Only free trial and 'entry' subscription accounts are severely limited to how many characters you can create.
