Kholusia cliffs look pixelated as heck despite maximum settings

Hello! I'm playing FFXIV on a high-end gaming PC and everything looks pretty good, aside from these cliffs in Kholusia which are incredibly pixelated and blurry for some unfathomable reason. I've messed around with pretty much every graphics option in the game but nothing works. Here are some screenshots of the cliffs in their degraded state. They look perfectly normal when you go close enough (as seen in Screenshot #3) but utterly atrocious when far away:

No other cliffside I've seen in the game so far looks like this. For comparison's sake, here's how the mountains of Il Mheg look like with my settings:

Completely normal! So what on earth could be going on that makes the cliffs in Kholusia look so pixelated and messy?

    Here's my setup:

Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums!

We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.

    Please try the following:
    - Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable).
    - Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
    - Please be sure that Final Fantasy XIV is installed to the C: Drive.
    - Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup.
    - Install game on different drive.
    - Reinstall game

Disable Full Screen Optimizations. To disable this, please find the ""ffxiv_dx11.exe"" and right click it and select properties. Then under the compatibility tab there will be a check box labeled ""Disable
Full Screen Optimizations"". Check it and click apply.

Open the Nvidia Control Panel and going to 'Manage 3D Settings'. From here, select 'Program Settings' and select Final Fantasy XIV. You should see an option to select the GPU. Make sure it's set to your dedicated graphics card (it may be set to 'Auto' by default)

    Please try lowering the resolution

Delete locally saved content ('My Documents' > 'My Games' folder)
When game is running, open the task manager, click the ‘Details Tab” Find the game and right click it. Select ‘Set Priority’ options to “High”

Double check to make sure PC is not over heating and remove any overclocks on GPU/CPU

Could you try using a registry cleaner such as CC cleaner? It will run and remove files that may have been left behind by installation and other activity on the PC. To do so, please remove the game and then restart the PC. Run the registry cleaner and then restart the computer. Once the computer has been reset, please reinstall the game again.

Go into your motherboard's BIOs settings by holding the delete or F2 key when starting up the PC. Locate the onboard VGA/graphics option and disable. Save the settings then reboot the machine to see if this has any affect as this will force only the dedicated graphics card to output visuals and not the onboard chipset (if any are present).

Go into your power settings within Windows and select additional power settings. Change to maximum performance then save the selection.

Use the ""Reset This PC"" option in Windows and keep all programs/data/files intact so only the Windows components are reinstalled and all your data is safe. This will ensure there are no issues with anything Windows related.

Uninstall all AMD related software from the machine then reinstall using the latest software from the AMD.com website."

    - Check to make sure that your PC meets the minimum system requirements. Be aware that integrated graphics cards (e.g. Intel HD graphics) are not supported. If so, try adjusting various graphical settings, resolutions and switching between windowed and fullscreen to see if this affects the issue.

    - Update your Windows Operating System using Windows Update. Make sure to install any optional updates as these aren't installed automatically.

    - Update/reinstall your graphics card drivers (preferably a clean install)

    - Disable all programs/overlays running in the background

    - Make sure your anti-virus software has the appropriate exceptions for FINAL FANTASY XIV

    - Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your GPU or CPU. Check that any fans or vents aren't being blocked.

    - Remove any mods or injectors from the game or system (Reshade, Nvidia Freestyle, etc.). Also, remove any custom configurations made using driver-level programs (Nvidia Control Panel, Radeon Crimson).

    - Perform a clean boot by doing the following: Open the Task Manager and select the 'Start Up' Tab. disable everything here and restart the PC.

Should the issue still persist after attempting all the listed troubleshooting, we advise that you reinstall the game (make sure to remove or rename the 'Final Fantasy XIV' folder in the 'My Documents' > 'My Games' folder). You can re-download the game client at the following link. : http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/playersdownload/na

We recommend that the game be installed on the C: drive, as installing it on any drive that is not the default may cause more problems.

If the issue is still present after the reinstallation of the game, please respond to this email with a FINAL FANTASY XIV System Report. On the game launcher, select 'Config' option and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
