Can FFXIV Executives/Devs/GMs start doing some work?

It's taking GMs weeks to act.

Can the Devs put some actual human beings behind managing PvP? You've neglected this mode with unlimited potential for over 5 years now.

- The PvP Balancing is done by AI, favouring jobs like BLM/PCT/MNK/BRD
- The PvP Patch Notes is done by AI because the changes do not match the intentions expressed
- There is too much crowd control
- Jobs like BLM/MNK/PCT do too much damage whilst being too tanky
- There's too many ways to break Guard
- You have actively pursued to make this mode unfun because you do not actively play it yourselves.

Can the executives sort out DIRECT COMMUNICATION with the Balance Team and active player base? It's the year 2026 and your Forums is segregated for no reason.

You're actively trying to supress your community instead of listen to feedback. Have you not learned anything from Blizzards stupidity?

What is worse is that while this is obvious cheating, there is a ton of cheating going on in PvP. They're just smarter about being less obvious about it.

BLM is a literal glass cannon. it sounds like you got a player that knows how to play the job in PvP. they have a shield, 2 insta casts dmg/heal , then pots. I do agree guard shouldn't be interruptible once its up though should either by you enough time to delay your impending doom or allow to you turn the tables.

The guy is literally clipping out of bounds. If that doesn't get him punted out of rankings, I don't know what would. I was in a match with someone last night that had constant shield bash up. Bash bash bash every three seconds.

I dunno tbh, I've muttered it to myself whenever things reach a bit of an overwhelming pitch with regards to the observed corruption but... just delete ranked? Seriously, just delete ranked. Let the funni minigame live up to its rep in more relative peace, ye? Ranked never really had a place in this game anyway.

If somehow the population doing PvP exploded then at least there'd be the buffer of greater variety to be matched against to not run into that so much, burying the rot under the sheer amount of bodies queuing, but alas. It do be like this rn instead. A farce.

Reminder that the correct link to report cheating is to the Special Task Force with as much evidence as possible. GMs through normal reports, when not answering their usual copy pasta, will redirect you to it anyway.

They act at a glacial pace and it's inexcusable, but what can we do about it anyway...

Your best option is probably to keep filing proper reports directly to the Special Task Force rather than relying on normal in-game GMs.
How the NA support team handles these situations has always felt like a black box.
From the outside, it either looks like severe incompetence, or there are legal/policy limitations in NA regions that heavily restrict how enforcement is handled compared to other regions.

Because when you look at non NA regions, especially some Asian regions (KO/CN/TC), the enforcement difference is very noticeable.
Their GM teams can be extremely strict with policy violations, and they are often willing to review unedited video uploads as supporting evidence.
In some cases, they’ll even publicly list the character names involved, ,the violation committed, and the disciplinary action taken.
That level of transparency and enforcement is something NA players almost never see, which is why many people feel frustrated with how inconsistent or invisible enforcement appears on NA servers.

I mean, what I do not understand that BlM (a mage class) is tankier than a WAR (tank class)
It should be changed that these classes are actually true to their job
Tanks being tanks
Mages being high dps but squishy etc.

Unfortunately Bureda this is one of the reasons why I don't play pvp anymore and it's taking too much of my free time so I'm officially done with it. The entire balancing process is disgusting and every patch they buff more and more unnecessary classes that don't actually deserve buffs at all. Such as Viper, BLM constant buffs every single patch, and so on. I'm just tired of that and have been a big fan of CC back in the days.

For the cheater scum, this is extremely sad to see. We can also notice that these kind of people constantly play pvp and square almost does nothing or it takes them 100 days before finally acting up. Will this do anything? The person in question will just create a new account, buy game in some cheapest region and fly to get his cheating habit again while ruining dozens of games.

This is just one example of showing "look what I can do and square doesn't do anything". Specially since streaming openly on twitch doesn't do anything anymore! How many times we have seen other streamers use cheats, plugins and other 3rd party tools in live streams and nothing ever happened to them? I legit wouldn't be surprised if that guy comes and says: "well guys I'm doing this because you know, I'm trying to open eyes of square enix so they finally add anti cheat and stop this shenanigans". There are those types of people in other games as well which ruin everybody's day with this excuse.

But the core problem isn't just him, this is a problem of hundreds of others who use teleporting hacks, instant guard against Machinist / Whm LB, instant poly to stop dragoon lb and other mechanics, the movement of these players is also very suspicious.
