Job NPC and quests in ARR...

Well, my character (as you can tell from my signature) is not at the point of obtaining AF. I'm having issues leveling because of all the RMTs at Cedarwood bogging down my system and causing my game to crash...but that's besides the point.

Will the NPC characters (WAR has Curious Gorge, for example) who give out the Job quests be given new areas to be distributed in? Along with having the zones of DH, AV, and CC being there for where our AF is located at in most cases. So will everything be relocated and/or changed?

I would like some feedback from the mods/community reps as well if they know! Also this is opened for discussion as well.

AF will likely still be obtainable, whether or not they keep the same methods of obtaining the gear in 2.0 as they do now, is currently unknown.

From what I recall, the Darkhold is going away, so that'll probably shake things up a bit. However, I'm sure the quests will still be around. There's even a lot of room for expansion in the storylines so I look forward to what happens in 2.0.

Have you tried moving to other areas to level? I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with them clogging your system. :\

Cedarwood is more convenient to level because it's close to Limsa Lominsa and such, so I think that's why everyone including botters are there.

But yeah, I hope that it would be possible for me to get my AF in the near future, I just have to level up more when I have the time.

If you do leves then try humblehearth in black shroud. It is near Gridania.
The bots in cederwood are only there to farm the one fraction leve with the karakuls.

But I hope that the areas and NPCs for the Job quests aren't in areas where it's too hard to find them.

Heh. I sure hope that AF is obtainable afterwards. If not, then I'm going to get back to work on my Lancer, immediately.
