It's fine knowing what there is to do, but I also wanna stumble on stuff as well. Meaning, if I do talk to random npcs or venture out, it will be worth while to do so, either for fun or rewards.

Hidden quests don't have to be coming from npcs either, you can be walking around and see a dead corpse and have it start an investigation quest. You can do a lot with this.

NMs, I think some agree that there should be rare nms, those could be these unmarked nms (nms that don't show on the map).

If you want to stumble upon things yourself, your only option is going to be to avoid reading any fansites. They are going to be documenting this stuff.

I'm sure they will. However, perhaps they will include an "off" button so that you are free to surprise yourself.

That's not the point, I don't see why they have to mark everything, I hope they do but they probably wont, that's why I'm asking for it.

Only quests would be marked with "!". Everything else (like the Behest NPC) not.
Do you remember the last invasion event, where you got some pages? Nowhere in the event was mentioned what to do with the pages. And then there was the NPC who gave a vaguely location where Urianger would be.

i'm sure in 2.0 there would also be events where you need the forum to know what to do.

I'm pretty sure there wont be an NPC that covers the complete and full maps for each area. That is one of the many things that wont have a ! on it.

That ! you are referring to will most likely only cover the basic storyline and quests. Everything else, I am sure it will come as a surprise. Now, I know you are very curious about 2.0 and the contents, wonders, and magic it will hold, but speculating about anything at this moment will only create rumors, and with rumors come expectations, and with expectations will either come disappointment or satisfaction, nothing more. To put it brief, these 2.0 threads have no purpose when it comes to discussing and suggesting fixes, as the game isn't out yet. Speculation threads also do not help much either.
