You have a choice as to whether you're going to look at a fansite for info or help with a quest or figure it out on your own, though.

The current MMO standard seems to be breadcrumbs and big flashing lights everywhere, though, and so I think it's reasonable to expect we'll be led around by the hand. Which I'm actually okay with, as much as I loved FFXI and its tendency to never tell you a goddamn thing. =P As long as the quests are interesting, I'll be happy personally.

I know I've said this too many time allready but it never seems to work for you guys. You are well aware useless posts like this do nothing but feed his own fire right?

If you don't like his posts you could always block him, not post in his threads, stop bumping them with your own posts, hell there are alot of things you can do to cut him off from what you think is a clean posting enviroment. When he bumps his own threads after a month or two report it as spam and MOVE ALONG don't add to the threads post count and make it last more than the 30 minutes it takes for newer more topical posts to move to the front of the board. I will never understand how people think just spewing vitrol at a person who could care less will do.

Let the people who actually find something worth discussing do so. I hate you people doing nothing but posting vitrol than I do the OP's posts themselves at least they serve a function unlike this wasted space you people make every single day.

I guess I'm preaching to the deaf though, my words never seem to get through.

Thank you, there could be many quests that could be investigation quests in the world, stuff like that. Npc that needs help, random stuff that you don't seek out for.

I believe it's already in play Rokien, or at least in it's early stages (as given by examples in previous posts).

It's likely that if not exact, we'll see something similar in 2.0.

Yaaa, I only post really at work when it's slow, so I have to just slap something down. I always wanna edit it but, I always feel it's to late when I have time to get around to it. I'll do better next go around

Except nothing will be a 'surprise' or a 'secret' the very instant ANYONE finds it. Then they will plaster it all over every fansite and in the official forums. In fact, most people will not bother to hunt down the 'secrets' they'll merely wait for someone else to tell them where it is.
