I know what its called, I fail to understand WHY undercut to such a massive extent? What is the reason? Why do people not understand the basics of making money, yah I get it you want your sh*t to sell, guess what, it sells like hot cakes, put it 1 gil less than the others and in a few hours itll be sold, why go so far?

You think thats bad? I want to know what rock some people lve under especially since I know people and see people buy copper ores for 200-300 gil a pop when you can buy them from the npc for 67. Either these people are extremely stupid, or super lazy. >.> Fact is the majority of the player base does crazy things we can never explain o.o its like trying to explain why cats meow. I have stopped trying to understand people, it just gives me a headache.

When you try to sell something and someone undercuts you. So you undercut him and he undercuts you again. Many people just say screw this and undercut by a huge amount.

A sells 5 Felt trouser 60k
B sells 10 Felt trouser for 59k
A undercuts by 1 k again
B undercuts again by 1k
A has enough and undercuts by 20k to scare B away.

some people may play that way. but I dont. I just keep mine at a reasonable price and wait. eventually all shards will be sold but mine and mine will sell, but it just seems so stupid to me. need a blind bidding system like we had in FF11 (yah sure go ahead and troll/flame away cause I said FF11).

Undercutters only hurt themselves lol I just leave mine at the price I choose and it sells within a day I've made over 100m+ being patient this way instead of undercutting to oblivion :x

When I have the gil for it, I do this. You can make a killing if you have the gil to invest and the time to search through the wards.
